Night Fowl
Type: Prosthetic
Slots: —
Price: 4200 Credits
Description:
A brutal, coal-black prosthetic reinforced with tungsten alloys and recoil dampeners. Hydraulic veins pulse beneath obsidian plating, and a compact pile bunker is mounted along the forearm like the beak of a predatory bird.
The Night Fowl was designed for overwhelming, decisive force. Its internal gyro-pistons store kinetic potential like a heartbeat waiting to explode. Each strike lands like a meteor, punching through walls, mechs, and shields alike.
Prime Stake: At the start of each of your turns, you prime the stake of the pile bunker. Your next unarmed strike using the Night Fowl explodes the stake forward, ignoring half of the targets GP (rounded up). On a hit, you deal an additional 2d10 Piercing damage that ignores toughness.
Shockwave: If you use the Sonic Manipulation ability on a primed Night Fowl attack, it creates a shockwave dealing 1d6 Sonic damage to all characters within 10 ft of the target.
Stake Bounce: Whenever you use your primed Night Fowl Attack, you can make a jump up to your full running jump distance in any direction for no AP. This movement does not provoke the Opportunistic Strike ability. This jump does not count against your jump count for the purposes of the Double Jump ability.
