Description


Damon is a brutal frontline fighter and terrain-dominating tank. His build emphasizes control and punish tactics slamming enemies with forceful strikes, then denying ranged retaliation through abilities like Bullet Catcher and Bullet Proof. He excels at closing distance, breaking lines, and destroying hostile forces.


Tactics

Chases down targets using Double Jump or Wall Run when necessary.
Uses Grounding Strike to anchor Evasive targets and control their movement.
Uses Store Power liberally as his high defenses allow for heavy RP usage.
His Signature Ability is best used when enemies are grouped together, but can be just as effective against stronger, solo enemies.
When paired with Selene, the two are a nigh invincible combo.

Star Breaker
Damon slams the ground and channels force into a straight-line strike. A visible shockwave tears through the air, as the kinetic blast repeats in rhythmic bursts of raw momentum. Each pulse deepens the fracture in the terrain and the will of those who stand against him.

Notes: The +Area and +Range upgrades grant extra weight to this damaging Signature. It changes the ability from a good attack to something visibly massive and imposing.  The +Application upgrade creates a devastating signature that deals damage multiple times. Finally, the Scaling Boost increases how much his governing attribute affects the ability.

Unique Traits


Ascension Upgrades: Damon's Tier IV Ascension Armor has the following upgrades to his Ascended state:

Ascended Weapon: Damon gains a Greatsword with the Reach Property.

Burst Strike: Your attacks deal 1d8 Shade damage to each character within 5 feet of your target.

Speed Surge: Double your movement, and you ignore difficult terrain.


Limit Break(Virtue): Damon activates his Limit Break Virtue whenever Selene is brought to Deaths Door.


Nanite Injection (Max): Damon has undergone Nanite Injection surgury to raise his attribute maximums (+6).


Being Traits


Shade Affinity: You know the Shade Manipulation ability. You can see through Darkness as if it were dim light.


Shade Resistance: While you are Shade Touched, your Warper abilities are sealed on a roll of 1. You have resistance to Shade damage.


Umbral Cloak: You wrap yourself in your living shadow.

You can activate this form for 3 AP.
Duration: 1 round for every 2 INT you have (minimum 1).

Recharge: 9-10

The aura grants you Barrier equal to your END, and recharges by 2 points whenever you deal Shade damage. While your Umbral Cloak is active, you can choose to deal Shade damage with any ability.

 

Light Sensitivity: Take a -2 penalty to all rolls while in bright light.


Shadowbound: Your shadow has a will of its own. When you roll a natural 1 on an action, your shadow lashes out uncontrollably. You must succeed on a DR 8 Intimidation skill roll or your shadow determines your next action (GM dependent).


Your shadow never forces you to harm yourself or allies.
