Description


Catalyst is a volatile midline caster who mixes Tuning and Ranger abilities to create large danger zones and pepper targets with damage to soften up GP and Barriers for bigger attacks.


Tactics

Sets up to state afflictions with Voltaic Manipulation + Toxin Manipulation for quick group debuffing.

Uses Cyclone Encircle + Voltaic Manipulation to limit enemy movement while still dealing bouncing Voltaic damage.

Strong against tight formations.

Thrives when paired with tanks or controllers that draw attention away from her.

Uses Barrage to create massive ammounts of bouncing Voltaic Manipulation attacks at once when backed into a corner.

With a manic grin, Catalyst hurls a glowing vial that erupts midair into a psychedelic storm. Green lightning arcs across the vapor, piercing through armor and flashing on contact.

Notes: As Piercing Shot allows you to use a ranged weapon or ability, Catalyst will often choose Voltaic Manipulation, but this could be used with a ranged weapon. The Elemental Infusion allows her to deal split Toxic damage. +Application allows for 2 additional shots that. Finally, anyone hit is blinded by State Application for 1 round. This creates a volatile casting of Voltaic Manipulation with all of the benefits afforded to the Peircing Shot signature, bouncing from character to character, softening their GP and Barriers, and inflicting up to 3 debuffs from the two damage types and the Blind.

Cheeky Darling: Gain a +3 bonus to your first Persuasion roll after a failed Stealth action roll, or when you are seen in a restricted area.


Cute and Wee: Whenever you are the target of an attack, you can use 1 RP to force the attacker to make a contested roll against your Charisma. On a failed roll, it must target a new character within range or waste the AP.


Whimsical Aura: You gain the Aura ability. You gain one free Ability Combination slot that can be used to combine an ability with Aura.


Fragile Build: Whenever you take Bludgeoning, Piercing, or Slashing damage, you take 2 additional damage.


Undermined: -2 penalty to Leadership rolls.
