Umbral Wardens are humans with a mysterious connection to a reality of shadows and darkness, their appearance often looking like that of an edgy anime or comic book character. Pale and pretty, their eyes hold an alluring, deep gleam. Their presence is accompanied by an ethereal, living shadow.

Benefits
Shade Affinity: You know the Shade Manipulation ability. You can see through Darkness as if it were dim light.
Shade Resistance: While you are Shade Touched, your Warper abilities are sealed on a roll of 1. You have resistance to Shade damage.
Umbral Cloak: You wrap yourself in your living shadow.
You can activate this form for 3 AP.
Duration: 1 round for every 2 INT you have (minimum 1).
Recharge: 9-10
The aura grants you Barrier equal to your END, and recharges by 2 points whenever you deal Shade damage. While your Umbral Cloak is active, you can choose to deal Shade damage with any ability.
Drawbacks
Light Sensitivity: Take a -2 penalty to all rolls while in bright light.
Shadowbound: Your shadow has a will of its own. When you roll a natural 1 on an action, your shadow lashes out uncontrollably. You must succeed on a DR 8 Intimidation skill roll or your shadow determines your next action (GM dependent).
Your shadow never forces you to harm yourself or allies.
